Lake treeby
Perron Group
The stunning Lake Treeby estate in Treeby has been in planning for more than a decade. The developer, the Perron Group, acquired a quarry site in the early 2010s and CLE obtained approvals for a District Structure Plan, Metropolitan Region Scheme amendment, local scheme amendment, two Local Structure Plans and multiple subdivision approvals. Significant constraints in the form of groundwater protection requirements and bushland protection were overcome and the estate is now mid-way through its sales life. The Torwood Avenue entrance off Armadale Road features a stunning westward curve that opens views to a lake and medium-density village. Ultimately, a primary school and childcare centre will complement these as the heart of the estate, which will encompass over one thousand lots on completion.

SEASIDE
Satterley
Seaside is truly unique, being the last major coastal landholding being developed in the south-western corridor of Perth. Identified for urbanisation in the early 2010s, Seaside developed steadily following the progression of amendments to the Peel Region Scheme and the local scheme and a structure planning process that demanded a detailed and authentic approach to dealing with concern from neighbouring residents about the development. Following acquisition by Satterley in late 2019, Seaside exploded into life and is now significantly through its 1700-lot sales life. Subdivision approvals and related planning and design work have continued apace and work will soon begin on the final pieces of the puzzle, being the coastal node and foreshore reserve.

ELAVALE
PEET
Elavale by Peet has emerged as a distinctive, thousand-lot estate bringing a fresh approach to urban design in the north-west corridor. From the outset, the chain of sand dunes forming the western edge of the area were used as a backdrop from the site and the design team committed to embracing their curvilinear footprint. The instinct to revert to a more conventional grid for efficiency has been resisted at Elavale and the result is an estate with a charming pattern of curving streets and retained trees. A coveted feature of many estates in the north-west corridor - the cul-de-sac - also finds expression at Elavale, creating opportunities for the quiet, safe streets enjoyed by many Perth families over the decades to be reimagined. Combined with its proximity to the Eglinton town centre and railway station, the estate has built significant momentum and CLE is coordinating significant planning work to meet demand.
