CLE Town Planning + Design were engaged by the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) in 2016 to prepare a Masterplan for the revitalisation of the 100ha Scarborough Beach Redevelopment Area. 


Formulation of the Masterplan involved an extensive consultation process to inform a plan that responded to the aspirations and desires of residents and authorities to deliver a world class beachfront experience.  


The Masterplan provided the framework to establish Built Form Design Guidelines and provided guidance for provisions within the Scarborough Redevelopment Scheme prepared by the MRA.  


CLE Town Planning + Design worked collaboratively with the MRA and a skilled project team to deliver the planning and urban design inputs to the final Masterplan including the integration of the State’s first beach side swimming pool.

CLE Town Planning + Design were engaged by the City of Subiaco in 2017 to evolve the design and graphics for the Kitchener Common Masterplan from the preliminary options advertised as part of the North Subiaco Structure Plan.

The purpose of the Masterplan was to consider the future of Subiaco Oval post-football. The Masterplan was evolved through ongoing discussions and direction from the City of Subiaco, and was used to facilitate discussions with the State Government regarding the location of the Bob Hawke College.

Vale

The Vale Estate, developed by Stockland, is located in the Swan Valley on the historic Egerton Farm. The project covers over 550ha and will ultimately deliver approximately 4500 dwellings in a collection of unique urban villages. Development of the Estate has focused on recognising the unique cultural and landscape heritage attributes of the site and has included rehabilitation of existing creek lines and retention of mature vegetation along neighbourhood boulevards. There is over 135ha of conservation area and integrated open space network. Village Centre nodes are strategically located to provide convenient access to community services for all residents.

Together with Stockland and the Vale project team, CLE Town Planning + Design participated in the production of District and Local Structure Plans and subsequent subdivision design. Urban design and planning for the Estate incorporates current market trends and best practice principles that have helped establish Vale as one of the City of Swan’s premier residential addresses.
