The Yanchep City Centre Activity Centre Plan was prepared over 106ha of land identified for the Yanchep Strategic Metropolitan Centre. First stages of the centre will be realised with the delivery of the METRONET station in late 2022. 

 

CLE Town Planning + Design was engaged by the Yanchep Beach Joint Venture to prepare an Activity Centre Plan that would facilitate the development of approximately 3,650 dwellings, a primary school and some 458,000m² of commercial floor space that is expected to generate approximately 15,000 jobs.

 

At the heart of the City Centre is the Yanchep METRONET Rail Station which has been integral to the design solution, as well as providing a key public transport service to this important Strategic Centre.

Dalyellup District Centre

CLE Town Planning + Design undertook the planning and design for the Dalyellup District Centre in the Shire of Capel. This involved design work, preparation and amendments to the structure plan and local development plans (LDP) for individual stages. The LDPs established development controls for the staged delivery of the district centre as well as for the residential stages around the centre.

Parkland Heights Neighbourhood Centre

CLE Town Planning + Design in collaboration with NH Architects secured approval to increase the size of the Parkland Heights Activity Centre from a local centre up to a Neighbourhood Centre status comprising circa 10,000m² of retail floorspace. This was a design-led project and involved an amendment to the local structure plan and the local governments ‘Commercial Strategy’. Additional design considerations were addressed via the preparation and approval of a Local Development Plan for the Centre, based on main street principles.
